Private Detective in Frindsbury

Frindsbury, sometimes called Frinsbury, is part of Medway conurbation (colloquially called Medway Towns) and unitary authority in South East England. The unitary authority was formed in 1998. In 2014 Medway Towns had a population of 274,015 people. Frindsbury stands on the northwest bank of the River Medway right opposite to Rochester. Frindsbury belongs to the civil parish called Frindsbury Extra, together with the villages of Upnor and Wainscott.

There are lots of places of interest in Frindsbury, particularly historic buildings. For example, the All Saints Parish church, which serves the joint parish of Frindsbury with Chattenden and Upnor, is a Grade II* listed building. It stands in the north-west corner of the Medway Towns and dates back to 1075. The manor of Frindsbury, also referred to as Court Lodge Farm, is also worth seeing. It is a grade II listed 16th-century farmhouse, with front in the late Georgian style added in 1753 and a porch added in 20th century.

One more example is Grade II listed Royal Oak Pub, built in the late 17th century. In 2015 the pub had been sold to a developer who closed it and planned to demolish it to build seven houses, but local enthusiasts campaigned to save the building. However, in 2016 the application for demolition was filed anyway and the future of the pub remains unclear.
