There used to be three churches at one time in the churchyard of Reepham. One of them burned down in the great fire of 1543 but the other two so-called twin churches St Mary's and St Michael still stand back-to-back. Three sisters that according to the local myth were responsible for the construction of three churches are depicted on the town sign.

There is a wide range of shops (even a Health Club), two restaurants, public houses, fish and chip shops, etc. Lots of guests visit the town onWednesday, the marketday, when among other events antiques fairs are held at the Old Reepham Brewery.
