Lutterworth town in Harborough district of Leicestershire England is civil parish and market town. During the 2011 UK census, it was recorded to have had 9353 inhabitants. Its market charter was awarded in 1214 by King John and stalls selling diversified items ranging from vegetables, clothes to fruits. Market Street, Lutterworth happens to be the main trading centre of Lutterworth where the stalls are located. The town hosts Lutterworth Athletic F.C and Lutterworth Town F.C.

The town lies on the A426 Leicester-Rugby road. It's next to the M1 motorway at junction 20. The M6 motorway and A5 trunk road found a few miles from the town. A4303 is a southern bypass connecting M1 to A5 thereby making traffic congestion less through Lutterworth town centre. Two primary schools: John Wycliffe and Sherrier, and two local secondary schools: Lutterworth High on Woodway Road and Lutterworth College on Bitteswell road are found in the town.

St. Mary's Parish Church, Lutterworth is the centre in which John Wycliffe as its rector was believed to have translated the bible from Latin into English. This was in the 14thcentury. The town hosts many former coaching inns remain as it was an important stopping place on the journey from Leicester to Oxford and London. Various historic half-timbered structures are also found in the town. Jet engines invented and developed by Frank Whittle were done at the British Thomson-Houston works in Lutterworth.
