Lytham St Annes is an extended urban area consisting of several merged towns in the Fylde district in Lancanshire County in England. The merged towns have grown together currently forming a seaside resort. On the eastern side overlooking the Ribble Estuary is Lytham while St Annes is found on the northern side overlooking the Irish Sea. The other towns are situated on the Flyde coast, at south of Blackpool where the coastline turns east to form the River Ribble estuary that leads to inland Preston.

The town had a total population of 42954 according to the 2011 UK census. Lytham Windmill which was recently restored and Old Lifeboat House Museum are located on the Green region of Lytham. The Green overlooks the River Ribble estuary and the Welsh mountains. Lytham's oldest buildings are situated in Henry Street and Dicconson Terrace. St Annes is a 19thcentury planned town which hosts upmarket hotels, sandy beach and other small industries.

Between Lytham and St Annes is the small village of Ansdell and Fairhaven district on the leeward and coastal sides of the railway respectively. Lytham town centre has limited disabled parking. Lytham Railway Station is found in centre of Lytham and lies on the single track Blackpool South to Preston branch of the Blackpool Branch Lines together with St Annes station and Ansdell & Fairhaven station. They provide rail transport in the town. The town boasts of a wide variety in culture, wildlife, religion and sports.
