Private Detective in Northfleet

Northfleet is a town bordering Dartford and to the west of Gravesend. It is located in the county of Gravesham. At the end of the river Ebbsfleet, formerly river Fleet is Southfleet. The place has been a settlement since the Roman times with the name changing over the centuries and by the type of settlers like the Saxons as Flyote, Fleote, and Flete. In 1894, the Northfleet Urban District council was set up. The area has experienced a lot of cement production from as early as the Roman times.

The Catholic Church, Our Lady of assumption was founded in 1863 with the church being built in 1870s. The premises was used as a school during the weekday and as a church on Sunday. The building survives till today though is not in use. The current church was built from 1914 to 1916 with a donation from the children of the designer Alfred Tolhurst. There were several improvements and additions to the structure making it what it is today.

The town has a stadium called Stonebridge road. The PHB stadium is a multipurpose stadium though is mainly used for football matches. It was constructed in 1905 and is currently the home of Ebbsfleet F. C. but initially was home to the Northfleet F. C. It can carry 4,500 people though the average attendance is usually about 1,165. From July 2014, PHB, the construction firm took sponsorship of the club hence the change of name of the stadium to PHB.
