Private Detective in Irlam

Irlam, is a suburb of great natural beauty and the largest farming area in Greater Manchester, England. In the past, the area was known as Irwellham and it grew as a result of the land reclamation that took place in the 19thcentury to allow the construction of the railway line connecting Liverpool and Manchester in 1829. In 1894, the Manchester ship canal was initiated which also led to Irlam being named an urban district. Today, Irlam continues to blossom as a rich farming and an industrial heritage location.

As one of the greater suburb towns of Greater Manchester, Irlam has a rich history that dates back to the medieval period. It has several iconic and heritage structures which are very wonderful for viewing. One of the greatest buildings to check out when you land in Irlam is the St. John's Chiurch. The amazing church was built in 1841 with a great architectural Anglo-Norman design. The chapel and other areas of the church were built separately as years rolled by. Also, as a remembrance for those who perished during world war I, a plaque was created for them.

If you decide to visit this beautiful suburb area of Irlam, you should not worry about any form of transport as it is well connected. Irlam has good roads, a canal and railway station that links it to its surrounding region. The Irlam railway station is the most notable of them all. Incepted in 1873 as Irlam railway station, it was later changed to Irlam and Cadishead railway station. The station has a lot of history and really supported the canal and the growth of the town as a whole.
