Private Detective in Wimbledon

The district of Wimbledon is probably best known for the Wimbledon Tennis Championship that is hosted every year. It is also home to one of the biggest areas of common land, the Wimbledon Common. This affluent suburb is less than 12 km from the centre of London and has several low rise apartments and Victorian houses. Its residential area is divided into two areas - the village and the town.

The village area is one of London's main residential areas and is close to the Wimbledon Common. The town area is centred on The Broadway. Some of the major businesses include Zipcar, the GMB trade union and United Response. The area also offers several amenities that include Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum, Wimbledon Museum, several railway stations, schools and places of worship. Its educational facilities comprise four secondary schools, five primary schools and six independent schools. Its places of worship include several churches, a Buddhist temple, a synagogue and a mosque.

One of its main places of interest is the New Wimbledon Theatre. It is designated as a Grade II listed building and is located on the plot of a big house with sizeable grounds. Wimbledon is also home to Polka Theatre (a children's theatre). This children's theatre has a main auditorium that can accommodate 300, a smaller studio, an outdoor and indoor play area, a learning studio and an exhibition space.
