Private Detective in West Drayton

West Drayton is a suburban town that has connections with a few notable people such as the guitarist of the Rolling Stones, Ronnie Wood, who was born here. The town is located in the London Borough of Hillingdon and has a population of approximately 14 000 people. In the past the railway and canal provided most of the employment opportunities, however, today West Drayton functions mainly as a commuter town because it is close to Stockley Business Park and Heathrow Airport.

A place of interest is the town's railway station. The original railway station was opened in the 1830s and is located north of the West Drayton's centre. It has five platform faces, serves Yiewsley as well and is managed by Great Western Railway. Another place of interest is St Martin's Church that is located on Church Road. It is a small church that is housed in a building from the 12th century.

Part of the suburban town is The Green (a conservation area). Quite a few listed residential and commercial buildings are found around The Green. The area also offers several cycling trails and canal paths and expansive green spaces where children can play. Some of its other amenities include Sipson Recreation Ground (the home ground of the local football team that is located on Sipson Way), a primary school and a co-educational secondary school (Stockley Academy located on Park View Road).
