Private Detective in Stepney

Stepney is a flourishing district based in Greater London, England. The area mostly developed as a middle age settlement around the St Dunstan Church. During the 19thcentury, the region grew faster as a result of the immigrant workers and the displaced poor people of London who came and occupied most of the area. As a result, the area was struck with poverty, violence, political assailant and overcrowding. In the 1960s, the slum clearance project led to development of streets, building of the tower block and modern housing took centre stage.

As the town rapidly grew in the 1960s, also transport was improved including roads and railway transport. One of the most notable places in Stepney district is the Green tube station. The station was opened in 1902 and from 1905, it has been operating with electric trains. The station is a subsurface station with two platforms. The ticket office is based above the ground and is linked to the platforms by stairs. Most of the origin features of the station are still intact and it's such a beauty.

For religious purposes, the town of Stepney is home to a magnificent and perfectly designed St Dunstan Church. The church found on the high street was built in an area that has been used for Christian worship for more than 1000 years. The current church building on the site is believed to be the third and was constructed in the 15thcentury. Big renovations took place in the church in 1899 and vestries with some other areas of the building were destructed by fire in 1901. The ring of ten bells is in the tower and there are some that are very heavy.
