Private Detective in Rainham

The suburban town of Rainham is situated in Greater London and forms part of the London Borough of Havering. It is situated in an area that is unfortunately prone to flooding. The town centre is part of a conservation area. Its retail area is situated along Broadway and Upminster Road. Some of the major companies that have offices in Rainham are Haveys Furniture, Rainham Steel and Carpetight.

One of its places of interest is the Rainham railway station (situated on Ferry Lane). The station was opened in 1854 and is on the London, Tilbury and Southend Railway line. One of Rainham's industrial rivers, Rainham Creek, encircles the station. The station has two platforms and during off-peak times there are two trains per hour travelling westbound and two trains per hour travelling eastbound.

One of its landmarks is Rainham Hall (situated next to the Church of St Helen and St Giles). This Georgian house was built in 1729 and today it is a Grade II* listed building. The wrought-iron railings (located outside the front of the house) and the coach house and lodge (located on its grounds) are also Grade II* listed. Another landmark is the Church of St Helen and St Giles which is the only surviving medieval building. Some of its other amenities include a library (situated on Old Station Lane) and a post office (located on Wennington Road).
