Private Detective in Brentford

The town of Brentford is located in west London at the junction of the River Brent and the Thames. It has two railway stations with the Boston Manor tube station located on the town's north-west border with Hanwell. The Boston Manor tube is a Grade II listed structure and is well known for its art deco style and black and yellow canopy pillars. The town also offers a variety of company headquarters and hosts an annual local town fair, the Brentford Festival.

One of the town's main places of interest is Brentford Dock, a very important trans-shipment point that is located at the junction of the River Brent and River Thames. It was officially opened in 1859, redeveloped in 1972 and today the dockyard is a housing estate (Brentford Dock Estate) and a marina (Brentford Dock Marina). Other landmarks include Syon Estate that houses a hotel, garden centre and visitor centre; Brentford Monument which celebrates four big events in the history of the town; and Gunnersbury Park Museum that is located on the periphery.

Some of the town's religious sites include two Anglican parish churches (Saint Paul's Church and Saint Faith's Church) and Saint Lawrence's Church. Saint Paul's clearly visible spire makes it prominent landmark, while Saint Lawrence's Church has become derelict. Other facilities include a public library and two museums (the London Museum of Water & Steam and the Musical Museum).
