Private Detective in Spalding

Spalding is a beautiful market town found in Lincolnshire, England. The name of the town, 'Spalding' was believed to have been acquired from an Anglian tribe, The 'Spaldingas', who lived in the area in the 6thcentury. The magnificent town of Spalding was famous for its yearly Spalding Flower Parade, which dates back from 1959. The festival drew many visitors around the world to just come and observe the parade. The motive of the parade was to commemorate the area's broad Tulip production and cultural connections between the Fens and landscape and natives of South Holland.

The town is well structured with Georgian and other ancient buildings in conjunction with the beautiful surrounding of trees that line down the river which gives this town picturesque scenery. As you walk down the bustling streets of the town, also visit the Spalding Grammar school based on Priory road. The Queen Elizabeth Royal Free Grammar school Spalding registers pupils aged between 11 and 18. It was created in 1588 and in 1939 it was doubled in size as it was combined with Moulton Grammar school. It is a great school and continues to perform well.

If you are much interested in the history of this town, there are several ancient and historical places to visit too, for instance; the Spalding railway station, poacher pub and Springfields. But the famous of them all is the Ayscoughfee hall. This hall and garden is one of the loveliest parts of the town. History has it that the house was built for a local wool merchant, traditionally meant to be Richard Ailwyn during the 15thcentury. It has several great features such as gardens which have tall yew hedges, an early ice-house, and a very magnificent ornamental lake.
