Private Detective in Sandhurst

Sandhurst is a small town in Berkshire, with a population of about 21,000 people, located close to M3; it is mostly a residential village but has a few light industry facilities. The town is renowned for being the home to the RMAS - Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, the training centre for British Army officers. For centuries, Sandhurst had been a small farming community until the area got railway communication in 1849. The settlement began growing and developing rapidly.

Also, in 1812 the facilities were built for the Royal Military College, which moved from Marlow (the College became an Academy in 1947, after merging with Royal Military Academy previously located in Woolwich, Kent). In 19th century, Sandhurst was expanding; for example, Ambarrow with its nice park, which used to be part of a Victorian country estate. If you happen to be there in spring, you'll be able to admire fields of daffodils and other spring woodland flowers.

Sandhurst churches are also worth visiting. The church in Little Sandhurst, devoted to St Michael and All Angels, dates from 13th century; however, it was rebuilt and expanded in 1853. Other churches include St George's in Owlsmoor - a relatively new one, built in 1960s and rebuilt in 1993; Sandhurst Baptist Church, built in 1884; Sandhurst Methodist Church built in 1906, and Church of the Immaculate Conception - a Roman Catholic Church built in 1959.
