Private Detective in Broadstairs

The coastal town of Broadstairs is located on the Isle of Thanet and is one of Thanet's seaside resorts. The increasing popularity of steamboats helped to develop the town as a seaside resort. The town is situated above a harbour and boasts with seven bays of sand. Viking Bay and Botany Bay are two of the seven bays that are popular bathing spots, while Dumpton Gap provides one of the best walking routes during low tide.

The town has several places of interest and landmarks. In Harbour Street, there are a small cinema and the Pavilion of the Sands. Another landmark is Crampton Tower that is located by the railway station. It houses a museum that has drawings, models and patents linked to the life of Thomas Russel Crampton. One of its main places of interest is its main beach, Viking Bay. It has quite a few ice cream shops and cafes. It is also very popular with swimmers and is patrolled during summer by lifeguards. The beach offers public toilets and changing facilities.

Other attractions include the Broadstairs Dickens Festival (held each year in June), Broadstairs Folk Week Music Festival (held each year in August) and several firework displays hosted on Viking Bay during summer. Some of the sport and recreation offered by the town include a bowling club, tennis club, golf club and sailing club. The town also has a very big out-of-town shopping development, Westwood Cross, which also has a hotel, fitness centre and ultra-modern cinema.
