Private Detective in Earby

Located in the heart of Lancashire, England, lies Earby a very small yet significant town. Even though in the past this civil parish belonged to the West Riding of Yorkshire, somewhere around 1974 it was able to establish itself as an urban area. By 1970, Earby was well connected with the surrounding towns as it had operational railway, however it is no longer in use. According to the records of the last census, Earby has a population of 6,183 people.

There aren't many things that can testify about the history of Earby as time has taken its toll. However, those that are left play a significant role for this small town. In the past Earby had a Grammar School building that has long been used for the needs of the Yorkshire Dales Lead Mining Museum. In 2016 the museum was closed and currently the owners who are in possession of the Old Grammar School are looking into the possibility of turning it into a caf .

Their inspiration about turning the Old Grammar School into a caf might have come from a similar building located not so far away. The Punch Bowl is also a relatively old construction which today serves the people living or visiting Earby as a place to relax and enjoy in some delicious food over a glass of good beer. Feedback on this place has been nothing but positive, so it is definitely a must see for everyone in Earby.
