Private Detective in East Cowes

Located on the north side of the Isle of Wight, people can admire the beauties of the town of East Cowes. This small civil parish has a long and very significant history as it was often visited by Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, who had their summer premises right in East Cowes. The influence of Prince Albert can be seen almost everywhere across the area, especially in the architecture of certain objects. The last census showed a population of 7,314 people.

One of the many magnificent landmarks in East Cowes is the Norris Castle. Originally designed by James Wyatt, the Norris Castle was intended to be used by Lord Henry Seymour. At first glance the castle looks like a very strong fort; however that is complete misconception. The castle has always been used as a place for entertainment fooling everyone with its seemingly large size. In the 20th century people were able to visit the castle, but that is no longer an option.

Adjacent to the Norris Castle is the Osborne House. This landmark dates back to the period between 1845 and 1851 when it was built as a summer residence for the royals. The complete look of the construction was Prince Albert's idea, who wanted everything to be made in Italian style. After the death of Queen Victoria who died in the house, the ownership of the house was passed on to the state. Today people in East Cowes are allowed to visit the Osborne House.
