Private Detective in Rickmansworth

Rickmansworth often shortened to "Ricky" is a small town in south-west Hertfordshire, just 32 km from London. The confluence of three rivers within its bordersgave the name "Three Rivers Disctrict Council" to the local authority and the name "Watersmeet" to the famous grand theatre complex. The rivers that used to give power for many local industries such as silk weaving and corn milling in the past, still provide for employment - in recreational area.

The industry traditionally developed is farming, so many work for the agricultural co-operatives such as Quality Milk Producers and the English Guernsey Cattle Society (both in Scotsbridge House). Though, it's mostly a commuter town- since the extention of Metropolitan Railway. There's a vast public park Rickmansworth Aquadrome with woodland areas and two lakes: Batchworth Lake and Bury Lake. Both are beautiful sites, rich for diverse wildlife habitat; the first is used for waterskiing and fishing while the last - for canoeing and sailing.

You can also do other sports as Rickmansworth hosts lawn tennis club, golf courses, rugby football and hockey clubs as well as the William Penn Leisure Centre. As for the Rickmansworth Cricket and Sports Club, it is one of the oldest cricket clubs in England where the first matches were held in the end of the 18th century. Now the club has five teams that play Hertfordshire League Cricket.
