Private Detective in Baldock

Baldock, situated in the country of Hertfordshire, England is a town with great historical significance. This town takes us back far in the past up to the Paleolithic, Neolithic and Bronze Age, as evidence show that even then Baldock had its first settlements. The town itself was founded in the 1140s by the Knights Templar, which are still an important part of the town and there are many landmarks built in their honor. According to the last census the population of Baldock is 9,900 people.

The importance of the Knights Templar can be seen almost everywhere across the town, even in the educational system. The Baldock's school is named after them - Knights Templar School and is the only school in Hertfordshire that is referred to as outstanding, a title that was granted following an Ofsted inspection carried out in 2009. Over the years the school has evolved greatly and each year it welcomes more than 1000 students willing to invest in their future.

Great part of the popularity of Badlock comes from the well-connected Baldock train station. The station was opened by the Royston and Hitchin Railway and over the years it has gone through some big ownership transformations. The station was also part of the Thameslink project that aimed at expanding the lines that connect the surrounding areas, a project that was scheduled for completion somewhere at the end of 2015. Today the station is fully operational and provides daily transport to and from the town.
