Private Detective in Farnborough

Situated in Hampshire, England, Farnborough is a town that dates back to the Saxon period. Records show that its name was first mentioned in 1086 and it was often mentioned in connotation with the aviation industry. The airshow, the Aerodrome, the Royal Aircraft Establishment, and also the investigation department for Air Accidents have contributed towards the town's relationship with the aviation. According to the last census on the territory of Farnborough there are 65,034 people.

One very interesting location that has been the topic of discussion for quite some time is the Tumble Down Dick. This place dates back to the 17th century and for many years it was the heart of Farnborough. Unfortunately the place closed in 2008 and there was an idea of converting it into McDonald. The locals protested against this decision and the place was proclaimed as "Asset of Community Value". Later the decision was revoked and the request transformation was allowed.

As previously mentioned, Farnborough has always been closely connected to the aviation industry. Consequently the town has many facilities dedicated to this area and monuments to honor the important figures in history that worked in this field. One especially important memorial is the one dedicated to the great Sir Frank Whittle, who invented the jet propulsion. The memorial is in fact a model of the jet Gloster E28/39 and it is located on the Farnborough Airport.
