The large town of Tottenham is located on Northern London, within the London Borough of Haringey, in United Kingdom. The area is a little more than 13 kilometres away from Charing Cross. This town has many remarkable structures, one of which is the grade I listed building, the Bruce Castle. The Bruce Castle was once known as the Lordship House, a manor house dating back to the 16th century. Bruce Castle is on the Lordship Lane.

Tottenham is also home to the Broadwater Farm, or more commonly known as merely The Farm. The Farm stis on the River Moselle, and is subdivided into two portions. The eastern portion of the Farm is occupied by the social housing estate Broadwater Farm,a nd the other half is used by one of London's biggest parks, the Lordship Recreation Ground. There used to be a long standing Mecca Dance Hall in Tottenham, but it was dismantled in 2004.

There are many railways providing transportation to Tottenham, one of the popular train stations is the South Tottenham, which was originally known as the Tottenham and Stamford Hill station, and was opened on 1871. Harris Academy is a secondary school within the town of Tottenham. The school is on Ashley Road.
