The district of Morden is a part of the London Borough of Merton. Surrounding the district are the areas of Wimbledon, Merton Park. Central London, Sutton, Worcester Park, and Mitcham. Mordem's parish church is St Lawrence Church, which dates back to the Saxon period and can be found on London Road. The structure is considered as a grade I listed building. The Morden Underground station was opened for service during 1926 and si still functional today.

The Morden Hall Park can also be found in Mordem, and is previously owned by the Westminster Abbey. The park is now under the management of the National Trust. Morden Hall Park House can be found in the park itself. It used to be aschool for gentlemen during 1840. During the First World War, the house was utilised as a hospital. In 1941, the Morden Hall Park House was granted by the Hatfeild family to the National Trust.

The Morden Park is another park of equal importance located in Morden. This park is being managed and is currently owned by the parks department of the London Borough of Merton. Within Morden Park sits the Morden Park House, a historical structure that dates back to the eighteenth century. There used to be a couple of popular pubs in the district, the Crown Inn, and the George Inn. The Crown Inn was constructed in 1960, but was closed. The George Inn was built in the 17th century and is still operational.
